Description Location: This position will support AZ and NM, but will sit in the office in Phoenix when not traveling to the plants. Build Your Career. Build America's Future. What You'll Do: Provide backup coverages - Performs the same assigned tasks as a Plant Office Administrator, but at multiple facilities when coverage is needed during absences (vacations, sickness, and job vacancy). Will be required to drive or fly between locations within the area of responsibility in order to provide coverage. Perform a variety of daily administrative plant duties such as purchase orders, payables, time cards, fuel usage and receipts, bank deposits, tracking costs, and running local reports for plant manager and other projects as needed. Collaborate with others - Require regular interactions with operations, sales, finance, human resources, and corporate accounting to review, identify, and resolve accounting related issue. Provide trainings and guidance of plant accounting and administrative related activities across the area of responsibility to new and current employees. Participate in the development, documentation, and implementation of a best practice for the division and during new acquisitions. Perform monthly "plant audits" to ensure that all locations in the division comply with established internal control policies and procedures. Perform special projects such as implementation of new procedures, practices and systems as needed. Conduct "Plant Office Administrator" and "Dispatcher" meetings Provide Point of Sale System Support - Provide Point of Sale ticketing systems (APEX) user and Credit Card system support Set up new APEX POS machines during system conversions and new acquisitions Basic user support such as set up new users, resetting passwords, and troubleshooting ticketing and credit card system related and "End of Day" reporting issues etc. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills You'll Need: Experience. Experience in training, bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, or related experiences is preferred. Knowledge of Accounting Principles. Must possess a fundamental understanding of accounting principles and have knowledge of common office practices, procedures, and use of office equipment. Technology Skills. Must have the ability to use computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Must have appropriate typing skills and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Google Suite. Interpersonal and Communication Skills. Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with people in all levels of the organization. Integrity. Must act with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promote company policies, and hold self and other employees accountable. Other Requirements Position requires local travel of up 50%. Out of town and overnight travel will be required for plants in AZ and NM. Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Position requires ability to work at multiple sites depending on business needs. Hourly Range: the hourly range for this role is between $28.00 - $32.00 per hour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
