AAA is hiring for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team! This position will be officially based out of Hamilton NJ location at 700 Horizon Drive , Hamilton NJ 08691, yet provides Facilities coverage within an assigned territory throughout DE, PA, MD, and NJ. This role will provide assistance to fellow Facilities Maintenance Techs and Facilities Supervisor as needed, and will coordinate outside contractors and vendors for various services. All work will be performed in a timely manner, within established timelines, and with a strong focus on customer service and quality standards. The position will also provide back-up coverage and support in the absence of the Facilities Supervisor. At AAA, your success is our success. Manage assigned work orders and projects within approved timelines. In the absence of Supervisor, oversee any outside contractors/vendors in order to provide timely and cost effective service to internal customers. Includes assignment of work from planned projects, service request and other sources. Ensure emergency generators and UPS equipment are properly maintained by service vendor. Perform in-house repairs to the greatest extent possible before engaging contractor services. Monitor work order system and respond to assignments in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. Inspect major projects by visiting sites for update meetings and/or progress as required. Provide support and guidance to Facilities technicians and mechanics to help them resolve issues or concerns. Relocate associates as requested. Includes moving computers, telephones, monitors, filing cabinets, and network connections. Perform installation, certification, and maintenance of low voltage telephone/data cable. Move / reconfigure furniture workstation components as required. Work weekend on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency coverage Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Trade Certifications in Facilities related areas such as Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT). Preferred Five years of experience in building operation and maintenance. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Effective written and oral communications skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and projects and effective interaction with others.
