Job Description PURPOSE OF POSITION - To provide administrative and analytical support for the Director PURPOSE OF POSITION - To provide administrative and analytical support for the Director AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides administrative, analytical, and data management for the Affiliation Contract SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Joint Oversight Committee Attends both Pre-JOC and JOC on a weekly basis Prepares Reports and Agenda; Documents Decisions and Updates Records Prepares clinical and financial analyses to support any adjustments to the Contract Payroll Processing and Recalculation Prepares and Process Monthly Payroll Data from the Affiliation Contract Reconciles Fee Statement against Payroll data and prepares quarterly Recalc documents Monitors any vendor contracts for temps/locums for clinical providers (i.e. Rightsourcing). ABMS Budget Monitoring Maintains an accurate record of all Affiliate Staff on the ABMS System Reconciles New Hires and Terminations from the JOC process Prepares monthly Budget vs Actual expenses Updates the Workforce Plan and Staffing Models at least annually FPP Metrics and Provider Productivity Utilizes standard Finance reports to Monitor and Track Provider Productivity Creates Reports to track professional billing and incentive payment metrics NYU Agreements/Chargebacks Prepares and documents any chargebacks to the Affiliation Contract Prepares Bellevue Agreements to Pay NYU for services performed at NYU for Bellevue Patients Designated backup and support for Director of Fiscal Affairs for the Affiliation Contract and cross-trained in all functions. Minimum Qualifications 1. A Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Public Health, Health Care Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration or an approved related program, and five years of experience in health, medical service administration or an appropriate functional discipline with emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or, 2. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university, and six years experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, business administration, finance or an appropriate functional discipline with emphasis on planning, liaison and interorganizational relationships or related administrative or managerial functions; or, 3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience; and, 4. Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication.
