We are seeking a Instrumentation Engineer with 1 - 3 years' geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring experience to work on infrastructure and development projects. The Engineer work closely with Project Managers to develop work plans, manage and assist in instrument installations, and create monitoring reports.Key ResponsibilitiesBe willing to travel to oversee, assist, and perform installation of geotechnical instrumentation monitoring systemsProgram, maintain and troubleshoot geotechnical instrumentation equipmentManage data acquisition, communications, and performance of monitoring systemsPrepare field reports and track installation information. Provide reports to the Project ManagerPrepare monitoring reporting, take-offs and proposalsProvide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to clients, as neededWork with multiple clients, contracts, and projects at the same timeBe able to work independently, as well as part of a teamInteract and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levelsAbility to travel to multiple project locations as neededQualifications1 - 3 years of experience as an Instrumentation EngineerExperience with instrumentation & monitoring equipment and with radio and cellular communication systemsExperience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint softwarePrior Construction Field Experience requiredStrong oral and written communication skills and ability to Interact with client representativesBasic computer programming and data management skillsAS or BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying or Geological EngineeringValid Driver's licenseEven if you don't feel that you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
