Requirements: Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New Jersey Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) DEA and CDS certification Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, or addiction medicine Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations, for patients with substance use disorders Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams Prescribe and manage medications, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) for addiction management Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and their families on substance use, recovery strategies, and relapse prevention Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment Job Type: Part Time Schedule: Average of 10 hours per week Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay: $100-$125 per hour Apply Today!
