Overview: The Events & Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning and coordination of in-person student, public, and fundraising events for Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) and Touro University. This role involves managing vendors, donors, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution, adhering to budgets, and meeting expectations. The Coordinator will also lead the Special Events Planning Committee, support organization-wide special events, and collaborate with the Communications team for event materials and position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and requires availability within 24 hours for urgent event-related issues. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Event Planning & Coordination: Plan and coordinate special fundraising events, including vendor, donor, and volunteer management. Lead day-of event activities to ensure successful execution within budget and meeting expectations. Committee Leadership: Lead the Special Events Planning Committee to support event planning and execution. Support Organization-Wide Events: Assist TCDM leadership in executing key events, including but not limited to: Annual Gala Annual Golf Fundraiser Commencement New Student Orientation White Coat Ceremony OKU induction Ceremony Research Day Post-Event Evaluations: Conduct post-event evaluations and de-briefings to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration with Communications Team: Work with the Communications Team to develop materials and communications for special events. Relationship Management: Foster positive and professional relationships with vendors, donors, and volunteers in alignment with TCDMs mission. Qualifications: Experience Proven experience in event planning, coordinating teams, and maintaining a budget. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Commitment to the mission of TCDM. Travel As needed or N/A Maximum Salary: USD $70,776.00/Yr. Minimum Salary: USD $56,621.00/Yr.
