Job Description A large reinsurance client is looking for a Sr. Solution Architect to sit fully remote. This position will be joining the Enterprise Architecture team and will be reporting directly to the head of Enterprise Architecture. This technical Solution Architect will be the right-hand person to the lead of the team. This role will focus on coordinating and leading various projects, including creating migration documents and managing enterprise architecture pillars. They will write requirements, develop process flows, and escalate issues to their lead when necessary. They must fully understand infrastructure architecture as they will be collaborating with networking and cloud leads, managing security and project plans. They support three separate organizations within one IT Department, so handling technical and strategic aspects is essential. They will be assisting the IT organization in their transition from on-prem to Azure. This architect will also participate in the architecture review board while managing the budget for data center migration programs. This must be someone with excellent soft skills who can communicate with c-suite level leaders. Skills and Requirements ~10+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect Experience as an Architectural Lead Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, architecture patterns, and best practices Proficiency in implementing robust security protocols and compliance measures within cloud architectures Strong communication skill to articulate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders Experience supporting large scale data center migrations Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, data architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, IP networking, Linux, Agile development, Scrum, application lifecycle management, .NET, programming languages, technical solution architecture, SOA, Windows, Azure Understanding of various architecture types Big Compute, Microservices, N-Tier Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. Reinsurance or insurance experience Architectural Board Experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
