Overview: We are seeking a part-time (21 hours/week) Family Support Specialist to join our team in our Satellite office in the Rye School District. The compensation range is $22,000-$24,000/year. Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Conduct initial cross-system assessment of service/resource needs. Provide care management services that facilitate families' access to necessary supports and services on behalf of their children and youth. Deliver presentations in classrooms, schools, and communities, and provide psychosocial rehab Children and Family Treatment and Support Services, including Psychosocial Rehab and Family Peer Support services. Provide administrative support across our school-based clinics. Requirements: We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: Two years of experience working with parents/families of children/adolescents required. Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required. Current license/license eligibility as a credentialed Family Peer Advocate are both strong pluses. Ability to effectively engage with and support families/parents of children/youth with significant social, emotional or behavioral needs across the full economic spectrum is essential.
