Job Purpose Our Senior Electrical Project Engineer will provide project management, technical engineering design, costs, plans, and specifications for construction and reconditioning or altering of existing systems and equipment. Defines final project scope, determines best engineering solution, estimates cost, develops funding requests and manages spending and execution throughout life of the project. Principal Accountabilities Lead and manage engineering capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. Direct outside and internal engineering personnel in preparation of detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure project requirement compliance and established quality and safety standards are met. Troubleshoot equipment, gather data and developing solutions. Analyze bids and make recommendations. Review bid packages and equipment specifications. Develop preliminary engineering details on feasibility, cost and scheduling for projects. Supervise, host and coordinate construction activities of contractors. Track and control assigned budget, report on the status of assigned projects. Develop and/or design manufacturing layouts and research options for process flow, product assembly, and equipment purchase. Experience with power, lighting and grounding design. Typical voltage levels of 480VAC, 277VAC, 120VAC Collaborate with electrical designer for design and update of the following drawing types:o Single Line Diagrams, Power Panel Schedules, Power Plans, Lighting Plans, Motor Control elementaries, Loop Diagrams Cable Schedules, etc. Specification and purchase of low voltage power distribution equipment Respond to questions from electrical contractor and assist with startup testing Knowledge / Skills / Experience Bachelor degree in Engineering - Required 7+ years of engineering and project management experience - Required Experience with electrical power systems, instrumentation and controls - Required Proven track record of successfully managing small to medium capital projects from inception to completion. Proficient is SAP Strong analytical problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Functional knowledge of the National Electrical Code Organization and ability to develop work scopes Experience with extrusion and/or film lines is strongly desirable but not required. Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc. Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections) The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
