Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Volkswagen Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong DESIRE TO FLAG 60-120 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD. Service technician experience and ASE certification desired. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Pay can increase in alignment with certification acquisitionResponsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, municate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualifications:2+ years of Service Technician experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid AZ driver's license and good driving recordMust be able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen (not including THC)About Us: The Berge Automotive Group is a well-respected, family-owned auto dealership group in the metro Phoenix and surrounding markets that has been selling and servicing vehicles for over five decades!
