AGM Tech Solutions, on behalf of the Client - a Global Technology Company, is hiring a Hybrid Position Title: QA Automation Engineer Position Summary: QA Automation Engineer ADP is hiring a QA automation Engineer. In this role, you'll build test automation framework using Selenium (cucumber framework) and ensures the integrity, accuracy, performance, and security of databases by testing and validating database systems and application. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the system. You will work with the development team, Product Team to gather details on features we want to develop and use that information to drive the team build and execute product testing to determine customer usability, performance and quality before deployment. Your role requires you to advocate necessary changes to maintain quality, performance and improve the end-user experience and the quality of data. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be curious persistent, and at times persuasive. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure database functionality, performance, and security. Configure and maintain test environments, ensuring they accurately represent production systems. Install necessary software, databases, and dependencies for testing. Data Validation, Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data within the database by performing data validation, data integrity checks, and data migration testing. Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy, identify bugs, and validate database functionality Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and API requirements and create S Design test cases, scenarios, and usage cases based on functional specifications and API endpoints, request methods, and expected responses. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Validate functionality, performance, and regression aspects of the product/system. Implement data-driven testing, handling dynamic elements, and synchronization. Execute tests across different browsers and platforms. Execute test cases manually or using automated scripts. Identify defects and report them in a clear and concise manner. Build an automated regression suite to ensure existing functionality remains intact Continuously update and expand the suite as new features are added or modified. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Document test results, including pass/fail status and defects. Provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage and areas for improvement Skills Required 5-8 years of overall experience. Experience in QA best practices including test designs and Automation. Handle Ambiguity and work with minimal specifications. Must be able to drive work independently and with minimum supervision. Strong SQL knowledge, Ability to write SQL queries for data validation, testing, and reporting. Attention to detail: Ability to identify subtle discrepancies in data and performance. Must Have strong experience working in an Agile development environment Deep experience with different types of testing including - Sanity / Functional / Smoke / Regression and API testing. Problem-solving: Analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and suggest solutions Must have Knowledge on Java, Cucumber or any JavaScript test framework. Hands on experience with Selenium Web driver test automation tool. Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence is a plus Experience in writing Automation Framework with React and Nodejs a big plus. Experience with API Testing - SOAP UI or Postman In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications.
