Job Title: Continuous Improvement Project Manager SUMMARY The Continuous Improvement Project Manager to lead and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and improve overall business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The Continuous Improvement Project Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement of operations, reporting, analytics and financial savings for the Supply Chain functional area. Bracco Supply Chain is responsible for demand planning, inbound/outbound transportation, inventory management, warehouse operations, and customer order fulfillment for Bracco's pharmaceutical and medical device products in the US market. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads process improvement initiatives Knowledge and experience using process improvement methodologies, e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, process mapping techniques, process analysis (8 lean wastes), and performance measurement. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data to drive insights and recommendations. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. Proficient in using process improvement tools and software, such as process mapping software, statistical analysis tools, and project management platforms. Change management experience, including driving process change and promoting organizational adoption. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or related roles. Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to design and implement solutions that enhance operational performance. Identify and promote best practices within the organization and across departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Process Analysis & Evaluation: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and systems within transportation, logistics and demand planning functions to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Work with stakeholders to implement improvements effectively. Help facilitate continuous improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen. Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and collect relevant data to measure process effectiveness. Project Planning & Management Responsibilities Identify challenges and opportunities within the Supply Chain organization, including demand planning, inbound transportation, outbound transportation, and warehouse operations. Develop and manage end-to-end plans across all relevant initiatives (People, Process, Partner, and Tools), providing coverage across design, key delivery milestones (including training and communication) and metrics, and managing dependencies between initiatives and broader transformation activity. Problem Resolution: Identify potential risks to delivery and drive the resolution of issues/problems with Subject Matter Experts, Project Steering Committees and Core Teams . Lead and participate on project teams and ad hoc activities to support and/or represent the Customer Fulfillment function and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate and create test scenarios, test and implement ticket resolution processes with parties impacted. Coordinate the revision of SOPs, Work Instructions, and Training documents as needed for system changes impacting the Customer Fulfillment team. Other Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of company products and services offered by other departments. (i.e. Professional Services, Operations, Accounts Receivable, Sales and Marketing) Maintain cGMP standing through timely completion of all training provided EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively in-person and via e-mail and telephone. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills on all levels in the organization. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, continuous improvement, or operations management, preferably in pharma/ biotech. Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in project management software and tools. Ability to lead teams and influence change at all levels. Proficiency in SAP is a plus Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and visualization tools. A background in continuous improvement, with experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a strong plus. Minimum 2 years GMP experience required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and successfully leverage internal and external resources. Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments while being able to prioritize and meet budgets deadlines and achieve objectives. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
