Job Title: Scientific Project Manager Position Summary: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research ("the Foundation") is seeking top talent for its Scientific Project Manager position. This position is responsible for supporting diverse programmatic approaches for the Translational Research department. This role actively contributes to the end-to-end oversight of high-impact funding and non-funding programs to advance a robust preclinical pipeline. This position collaborates with diverse internal stakeholders across the Research Business Unit and offers exposure to multiple scientific staff activities across the Foundation. The Foundation is hiring two Scientific Project Managers to join the team. These positions may be hybrid-flex or based remotely from anywhere within the U.S. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Support scientific staff in collecting, maintaining, and synthesizing information for the Foundation's initiatives Manage projects as needed within a portfolio - participate in check-in calls, take notes, disseminate information to the team, support review process, grants contracting and milestone management, troubleshooting and problem-solving during execution Maintain intelligence on the preclinical R&D/biomarker pipeline across Parkinson's disease (PD) and related disorders Create and manage Foundation project committees, working groups, multi-partner consortia and workshops/meetings by working closely with internal and external collaborators to develop agendas, prepare materials for discussion, circulate minutes, and support execution of next steps Work alongside team members to develop program impact metrics and support program evaluation during and post-grant period Assist in synthesizing and writing grant portfolio summaries around promising therapeutic targets and biomarkers that the Foundation is funding to be shared with diverse internal and external audiences Help to shape the Foundation's programmatic strategy through intelligence tracking and dissemination Update and collate resources for the Foundation's Translational research activities Educate self and team on current key scientific advances and challenges relevant to PD Qualifications and Skills: PhD degree in neuroscience preferred Knowledge in effectively communicating and presenting complex scientific information to a variety of audiences Knowledge in scientific writing, including the ability to describe data, methodologies, and extract key scientific insights Ability to distill information into high-impact presentations with informative slides Track record of successfully completing scientific projects independently, with minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight following an initial training period Capable of synthesizing large volumes of scientific data and research, summarizing key insights for both technical and non-technical audiences Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to understand and articulate how specific details fit into the broader context of a project or research area Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J.
