The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for processing customer invoices, assisting in rollout of automated billing platform, reviewing invoices generated within automated billing platform, analyzing variances from expectations, posting, collecting payments, and assisting the client accounting team. Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $60,000.00- $70.000.00. Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible to receive annual incentive bonuses depending on their job classification and the policy guidelines. Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k retirement savings plan. Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 80 hours per calendar year. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all functions. Assist with month-end close by preparing manual invoices, and reviewing invoices prepared automatically in invoicing platform. Participate in process improvement projects involving invoice files, including the implementation of replacement tools. Analyzes and investigates variances between expectations and invoices generated, often coordinating with other members of the finance or operations team. Analyzes and adjusts the income statement to the general ledger trial balance for revenue recognition. Reviews and reconciles monthly processed AR to GL posting. Reconciles the accounts receivable sub-ledger aging to the General Ledger. Resolves customer issues related to slow pay, or non-payment of invoice collections. Conducts weekly reporting of all delinquent accounts and credit risks. Performs other general accounting duties as needed. Assists with documentation of processes and procedures and completes special projects as assigned. Systems and Standards Maintains a clean, neat work environment. Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Client Accounting Supervisor. Cooperates with management and coworkers to ensure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity. Interfaces with management and technology support personnel on software applications. Safety and Risk Management Understands and follows safety and security procedures. Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by Towne Park. Reports all accidents and incidents immediately to the Client Accounting Supervisor. Uses only equipment trained to use and safely operates all equipment. Reports all potential high-risk areas and safety concerns to the Client Accounting Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting; AND two to five (2-5) years of experience in accounts receivable, financial analysis, or equivalent analytical experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge & Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adhering to strict deadlines. Ability to research various tax/licensing issues through the use of the internet and/or through tax research publications. Ability to maintain confidential information. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and various accounting technology applications. Written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization. Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications. Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications including reports, memos, letters, and e-mails. SCOPE Authority to Act: ☒ Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions given and work is checked or verified on a frequent basis.
