Job Description Job Description: R D Altanova a member of Advantest America, Inc. which is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years R D Altanova has been a leader in the Printed Circuit Board industry. We are currently looking for maintenance technicians in our South Plainfield, NJ facility. Responsibilities: Performs various maintenance tasks on facilities, including mechanical equipment repairs and inspections. Perform semi-independent preventative maintenance on PCB Equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following, maintain and replace fans, motors, pumps, chemical tanks, etc. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on PCB production equipment and supporting equipment. Evaluates and recommends part replacements and new products to lower maintenance and operating costs. May supervise lower-level facilities maintenance staff. Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and specialized software and standard office equipment. Assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands, presenting a professional demeanor while working in stressful situations. Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships Clear and concise communication verbal and written. Respond to Fixx software for down equipment and prioritize jobs. Requirements Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or GED, and five to eight years paid fulltime experience in maintenance or operations, or repair and installation of equipment. Be able to work weekends and after hours when required. Monitor equipment operations to maintain efficiency and safety. Demonstrated Knowledge of: Installing, troubleshooting and repairing Fab PCB equipment. Methods and techniques used in the operation, maintenance, installation and repair of large systems in an industrial environment.
