Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Inspector to join our fire business unit. Primary Responsibilities: Provide the inspection and testing of fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes. Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations. Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Interact professionally with customers. Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules Communicate inspection status, changes or problems to supervisor or manager Work overtime when needed. Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role. Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in testing, inspecting, or servicing fire alarm, burglar alarms, video surveillance or access control systems Valid Drivers License Preferred Qualifications Manufacturer certifications preferred (ex. Siemens, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch). New York City - Certificate of Fitness for Fire Alarm Systems Inspections, Testing, and Service (S-98) Salary: $30.00 to $35.00/hr Opportunities for overtime Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
