As the Head of Family Support at Apollo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and productivity of our employees by overseeing family support programs and providing personal assistant support to a cohort of senior executives. This position requires a blend of strategic leadership in family support initiatives and hands-on assistance to senior leaders. This role includes the management of 2 personal assistants and the continued development and build-out of our newly created Family Services team in addition to day to day personal assistant support for executives. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement family support programs aligned with company values and strategic goals. Manage a team of 2 personal assistants as part of the Family Services team Collect and aggregate feedback and advise on future state of program and scalability Provide comprehensive personal assistant support to a cohort of senior executives Work in close partnership with executives' Admins to provide end to end support (e.g., professional to personal) Work closely and effectively with team to complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including keeping them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and following up appropriately. Provide high touch support and multitask given coverage of multiple senior executives simultaneously Provide personal calendar management and support of personal administrative tasks for executives and their immediate family members Schedule and confirm personal appointments and other service providers (e.g., doctor appointment, electrician, plumber) Process benefit claim reimbursements and follow-up to completion, providing real-time updates as needed Interact with childcare provider (e.g., nanny) to deliver instructions or coordinate activities Provide day to day support including online shopping, coordination of deliveries, research and arrange service providers, and make restaurant and travel related reservations Complete applications for immediate family member activities (e.g., camp, school) Proactively manage needs related to upcoming personal milestones/events (e.g. holidays, birthdays, anniversaries) Prioritize conflicting needs; handle all matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures Arrange complex personal travel plans (commercial/private) and compose detailed itineraries Partner with benefits and HC to develop scalable solutions and tools broadly to support primary caregivers Serve as a key liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth workflow within the Family Services team. Collaborate globally with HR and other departments to integrate family support initiatives into company policies and practices. Advise on the future state of the program based on analysis of pilot phase - track requests and gather and synthesize feedback on the program and identify potential enhancements Assist with in-scope ad hoc projects, as requested Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience as a personal assistant a must 3+ years of management experience required Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities - must demonstrate a proactive, positive approach towards given tasks Superior level of client-service orientation Strong gravitas and demonstrated leadership skills Exceptional attention to detail Team player attitude with the ability to flex based on needs of the team and firm Exemplary interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Demonstrating poise, tact and diplomacy Exercise the highest-level of confidentiality, discretion, integrity and trustworthiness at all times Superb written and verbal communication skills Extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy Team-oriented and collaborative attitude is a must Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience in the finance industry preferred About Apollo Apollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager. Pay Range $112,000 - $148,750 The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
