A leading electronics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Electronics Analyst. This employee-owned leader in electrical wire and cable insulation serves diverse industries, including utilities, oil & gas, military, and renewables. Headquartered in New Jersey, they operate multiple facilities producing specialized cables for both industrial power and renewable energy applications. Key responsibilities include: Troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to identify potential component and board failures. Addressing issues with electrical controls, relays, starters, and contactors to maintain equipment functionality. Modifying and refining machinery control programs to enhance quality and reduce waste. Specifying and sourcing components for upgrades and repairs, managing vendor relationships, and tracking delivery timelines. Diagnosing critical equipment issues as they occur. Planning, scheduling, and leading installation teams for new equipment setups. Maintaining continuous communication with relevant departments regarding project schedules, repairs, and downtime needs. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment with union workforce exposure preferred. Basic writing skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Availability for off-shift work, weekends, and occasional out-of-state travel.
