Description Kitchell Fleet is a busy full service repair shop currently seeking an highly skilled Senior Auto Technician to diagnose and repair complex technical issues on a variety of light to medium-duty vehicles. This role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring vehicles operate at peak efficiency. No Weekends Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose vehicle issues, determine repair needs, and prepare time and parts estimates. Disassemble units, inspect parts for wear or replacement, and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Overhaul or rebuild components, rewire systems, lights, and instrument panels. Inspect, test, and adjust completed work for proper operation. Provide guidance and assistance to other technicians Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Requirements Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED (preferred) 5+ years of automotive repair & diagnostic experience. ASE Certified Master Technician with L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) designation Valid Drivers License Skills and Qualifications Extensive experience with Master tech and/or Tech II scan tools. Proficient in reading and understanding automotive electrical diagrams and flow charts. Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, fuel, spark, and computer-related issues on various vehicle makes and models.
