Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include but are not limited to: Maintain all aspects of Accounts Payable including coding, posting to AP system, payment, and filing. Maintain all aspects of Accounts Receivable including posting of cash receipts, bank deposits, rent roll maintenance, posting of miscellaneous charges and adjustments. Perform General Ledger account analysis and post journal entries. Vendor account reconciliation. Bank Reconciliations. Tenant andor unit owner account reconciliation and inquiries. May maintain various spreadsheets used for utility analysis, cash account balances, etc. Complete special projectsassume additional responsibilities as assigned Background Expected of the Staff Accountant: Account payablesreceivables experience preferred Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude to learn new technology. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred Ability to effectively take direction from many sources Excellent communication, administrative and customer services skills
