Tax ManagerCFS has partnered with a local CPA firm to help find a Tax Manager. This firm emphasizes worklife balance and professional development. Do you want to be part of a firm that values its people and the community in which they serve? Our client, a local accounting firm is seeking experienced tax professionals. Depending on the level at which one gets hired, responsibilities will include some, if not all, of the following: Preparing corporate, partnership, individual, estates, trusts, and gift tax returns. Conducting complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries. Managing a book of business andor participating in marketing-related activities. Ensuring complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, and meeting deadlines. Managing, developing, training, and mentoring staff, including performance and engagement reviews. Attending professional development and continuing education sessions regularly. Experience and Skills: Bachelor's in accounting or a related field. CPA certification is a plus. 7+ years experience (recent public experience highly preferred). Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities. Experience utilizing UltraTax is a plus. Location: This role is full-time onsite in Port Chester, pensation: $100,000 - $175,000 depending on experience.
