Senior Staff Accountant ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading international Law Firm! Notably the firm is recognized for it's pro bono services This role would be operating remotely and reporting into the accounting manager! May need to go into the NYC office every now and then, however majority of the time remote! There is a really fresh perspective that's been brought to the firm over the past few years! Very progressive and there is a lot of growth going on for the firm! RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT The Senior Staff Accountant will handle a high volume of credit card reconciliation back log Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts. The Senior Staff Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process. Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE: General Accounting Strong reconciliation experience! Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills #INSEP2024
