Senior Project Accountant for Architect Firm CFS of New York is currently working with a global Architectural firm located in Midtown, Manhattan seeking a Project Accountant to join their team Very stable company that has been around for over 40 years and have many developmentconstruction projects all over the world, including London, Abu Dhabi, South Korea, Thailand, and the Netherlands among others They are offering a competitive salary with bonus; great benefits and generous time off They are a growing company that likes to promote from within Role Responsibilities- Senior Project Accountant: Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial, project, and management reporting data Prepare, review, and maintain Initial Budget Worksheets and Plans Set up new projects in ERP system, review contracts and proposals Ensure timeliness and accuracy of fees and expenses billed to clients Fee Forecasting, including budget to actual comparisons Review and approve all consultant invoices, including reviews of unbilled expenses BillingAccounts Receivable - assist in production of monthly invoices to clients, assist AR position in collections and applying cash Handle quarterly and annual closings as they relate to revenue recognition Additional ad hoc responsibilities Preferred Qualifications- Senior Project Accountant: Bachelors degree in Accounting Professional services industry experience, especially Architecture and Engineering is a plus Familiarity with various ERP systems as well as strong Excel skills Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus #LI-RP2
