The ideal candidate will have experience in membership, hotels and food and beverage finance. Key Responsibilities of the Director of Finance: The Director of Finance will oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly financial reports, summarizing financial health, cash flows, income, and expenses to inform strategic decisions. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, highlighting variances and providing actionable recommendations to improve overall performance. Supervise accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records. Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment with organizational priorities. Partner with department managers to drive cost efficiency, enhance revenue streams, and monitor departmental budgets. Establish and maintain comprehensive internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Director of Finance will oversee cash flow management to maintain liquidity and meet operational needs. Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, vendor payments, and financial obligations. Develop and refine financial policies and systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Act as a financial advisor to leadership, providing clear insights and guidance to support long-term growth. Mentor and train the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Qualifications of the Director of Finance: A minimum of 3 years in a senior finance or accounting role; experience in hospitality or a similar industry is preferred. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. CPA or similar certifications (+) Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
