We are currently seeking a Facility Engineer - Electrical for a key client in Bethlehem Township, NJ. The Facility Engineer - Electrical position is responsible for planning, designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems for QuVa facilities. This position ensures that the electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulations. The Facility Engineer - Electrical applies engineering principles and techniques to optimize the facility engineering in the manufacturing environment to meet the organization's goals / objectives. Responsibilities may include: • Developing engineering plans and specifications, and creating drawings and scope of work documents • Overseeing the installation of electrical systems and equipment • Performing preventive maintenance and leading systems operations to ensure safe and efficient operation • Working with trades teams to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. • Ensuring electrical systems meet safety standards and regulations. • Developing and managing the budget, design, and schedule of projects • Coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and in-house specialties • nalyzing energy requirements and HVAC systems • Preparing facility reports and compliance records. • Participates in future site design modifications and upgrades. • Independently collates and analyzes data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats in order to support the Facility Management's decision-making process. • Undertakes specific tasks of varying complexity to support Facilities Management staff in the design of technical solutions. • Works closely with Facilities Management operating personnel to provide operating and maintenance support to avoid technical obsolescence and to assure maximum safety, reliability and cost efficiency for Company facilities, properties and related systems. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • uthorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field is preferred. • 4+ years' relevant work experience in cGMP facilities engineering with focus on electrical responsibility; relevant working experience in electrical distribution systems or cleanroom environment preferred. • MicroStation or AutoCAD platform and setting up drawing files. • Experience with high, medium and low voltages including 115kV main feeds, 45 MVA transformers stepping down to 13.2kV, and 480V and 208V substation distribution systems. • Experience with SKM or equivalent software to provide Arc Flash evaluation, Power distribution system protection coordination, Short Circuit studies and Load Studies, update Panel Schedules, assign and shift loads. • Licensed Electrician preferred.
