We service our clients primarily in the tristate area as well nationally through our affiliate networks.We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Lead Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development and deployment of AIML solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in machine learning, software engineering, and AI implementation, with at least 3+ years of experience in a leadership role. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and operationalizing state-of-the-art machine learning systems while mentoring and guiding a team of engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine learning models, algorithms, and solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, and Product) to align AIML projects with business goals.Drive end-to-end lifecycle of ML systems: from ideation, prototyping, experimentation, and deployment to monitoring and optimization.Write, review, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code in Python, Java, or similar languages.Implement robust data pipelines and workflows for training, validating, and deploying ML models at scale.Build and maintain APIs and microservices to integrate AIML solutions into production environments.Provide technical mentorship to engineers and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Set best practices for coding, testing, and machine learning deployment.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and building a world-class AIML engineering team.Research and evaluate the latest AIML technologies and frameworks to ensure the organization stays ahead of industry trends.Define technical strategy and architecture for AIML initiatives, ensuring scalability and reliability.Optimize machine learning models for performance, interpretability, and cost efficiency.Qualifications3+ years of experience in a lead software engineering or technical leadership role.Proven hands-on expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with experience in deploying AIML solutions into production environments.Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or other relevant languages (e.g., Java, C++, Scala).Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.Experience designing and deploying ML workflows using MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or AWS SageMaker.Solid foundation in software engineering principles, including version control (Git), CICD pipelines, and unit testing.Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).Experience with distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (MSPh.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.Experience leading AIML projects in domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Exposure to ethical AI practices and explainable AI frameworks.
