Role: Oracle DBALocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA (100% Onsite)What You Will Do:Perform database migration from existing on-prem datacenters to Oracle Cloud (ExaCC ExaCS) with minimal to no downtime utilizing technologies including Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGateMonitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.Perform fail-over testing; implement database patches and upgrades; and demonstrate expert level knowledge of networks, storage, encryption, security, cloud and backup and recovery technologies.Skills and Experience You Will Need:Required:Oracle Database Administration: 5+ years installing, administering, and tuning Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) in both OLTP and data warehouse environments.Advanced Oracle Technologies: 5 years of experience with Oracle ASM, RAC, and database migration technologies (including Zero Downtime Migration from on-prem to ExaCSExaCC).Database Backup & Recovery: 5 years managing backup and restore processes for databases of 5TB+ using solutions like NetBackup, EMC Networker, and DDBoost.Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: 5 years of experience in performance tuning, problem diagnosis, and resolution, including identifying issues in the infrastructure (application servers, network, storage, OS).Database Encryption & Replication: 3 years configuring Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) with HSM-based key storage and managing Oracle GoldenGate two-way replication, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and Streams.Oracle Utilities & Scripting: 3 years configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager and utilizing shell scripting and SQL for database management tasks.IT Service Management: 3 years of experience with ITIL-based service management, including tools like Remedy and ServiceNow.Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or information technology or equivalent work experienceWho We Are:GalaxE, now Endava, is a professional IT services firm that specializes in platform-driven solutions and the use of automation to achieve enterprise business transformation and mission-critical change for some of the largest companies in the world.
