You could be a great fit for this role!Position Overview:As a Graphic Designer Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in both the design and production processes, assisting in the creation, finishing, and installation of signs and graphics. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, creativity, and a customer-first mindset are essential.Key Responsibilities:Design and create visually appealing graphics and signage for various clients.Prepare print files and ensure artwork meets production standards and specifications.Operate and maintain printing, cutting, and finishing equipment.Handle various substrates such as vinyl, banners, and foam boards.Assist with mounting, laminating, and applying adhesives.Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet customer expectations.Help with installations, both on-site and off-site as anize and manage inventory of print materials and supplies.Collaborate with the design team to optimize production timelines and workflows.Support customers by addressing production-related inquiries and providing design recommendations.Qualifications:Previous experience in graphic design and print production (preferred).Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).Strong design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.Join us at FastSigns NYU and be part of a team where creativity meets craftsmanship!
