Key Responsibilities:- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft airframe and powerplant systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance to detect potential issues before they impact aircraft operability.- Document all work completed in maintenance logs and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand and power tools appropriately.- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective task completion and communication.- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.Qualifications:- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training is a plus.- Proven experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.- Strong understanding of aviation safety practices and procedures.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Physical ability to perform maintenance-related tasks, which often require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Working Conditions:- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, when necessary.- Must be prepared to handle high-stress situations, especially in tight schedules or emergency maintenance.
