Martin Bauer, located in Secaucus, NJ, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be based out of Secaucus, NJ, with up to 35% travel. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in demand planning, logistics and supply chain management and is used to working in a fast-paced environment, specifically within the manufacturing field. In this role, you will be responsible for production, supply & demand planning as well as coordinating and monitoring inbound logistics. Moreover, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize our supply chain operations and automation. You will thrive in high-pressure situations and take pride in being a key contributor to our supply chain and manufacturing operations, working collaboratively within the local and remote cross-functional teams of a larger organization, and supporting our company's financial success.ResponsibilitiesManage production, supply and demand planning across multiple plants in the company.Support Sr. Director of Supply Chain with S&OPS&OE processes.Operationalize sales forecasts to align with supply chain.Assure accurate and timely ERP data entry and management (SAP).Prepare RFP (Request for Proposal) to consolidate inbound and outbound shipment lanes and optimize warehouse operations.Analyze supply chain data and improve reporting parameters to meet company goals.Manage inbound transportation of raw material including imported and domestic shipments.Assist with inventory management and cycle count support.Build and maintain a network of carriers, brokers, freight forwarders & 3PLs for best combination of pricing, delivery service, and credit terms.Work in partnership with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Sales to assure optimum customer satisfaction.Responsible for complaint resolution for Logistics related matters.Develop & implement new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost in alignment with company objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative solutions.Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain and logistics operations through proactive planning and municate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful operational outcomes.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.5+ years of experience working in supply chain planning and logistics management.Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles.SAP ERP functionality and system knowledge is required.Extensive knowledge of supply chain operations, including transportation methods, freight operations, interpreting trade laws, and working with 3PL.Ability to source, negotiate, and coordinate domestic and international transportation.Able to travel as required both domestically and internationally.Working knowledge of Excel and MS Office Applications.Strong problem-solving skills: the ability to ask the right questions, help frame logical conclusions and arrive at effective solutions.Strong team player.Possess planning and analytical skills and be able to take complex issues and break down actions for resolution whilst working against tight deadlines.Strong negotiation and influencing skillsSince 1930, Martin Bauer has stood for expertise in botanical products.Our success is built on our passion and love for nature.
