Mechanical/Special Project Manager Location: Phoenix, AZ Overview We seek a seasoned Mechanical/Special Project Manager for our Phoenix location. The ideal candidate will have a local presence and a stable work history. They should hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field and possess extensive hands-on experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal work on commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage 5-10 active projects simultaneously. Utilize advanced estimating and scheduling software to plan and execute projects efficiently. Coordinate closely with field teams and fabrication shops to meet project timelines and quality standards. Engage directly with customers, particularly on mission-critical data center projects, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded. Foster a collaborative and proactive project environment, ensuring seamless stakeholder communication. Qualifications Local presence in Phoenix, AZ. Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and longevity in past roles. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field. Extensive experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal work on commercial projects. Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk Suite (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks). Strong field coordination and fabrication experience. Hands-on experience in mission-critical data center projects is preferred.
