ABOUT THE FLOCK The Associate Director of Network Transportation will play a pivotal role in driving global network logistics and ensuring trade compliance. As a senior leader, the role will oversee a team of Managers and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure supply continuity while fostering seamless communication and collaboration across the organization. HOW YOU'LL FLY You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by: Oversee and manage relationships and performance metrics for couriers, customs brokers, and 3PL providers. Lead and manage global trade compliance programs, ensuring full adherence to international trade regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures that remain aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough reviews of shipping and customs documentation, both pre- and post-shipment, to ensure accuracy and compliance. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing and implementing robust contingency plans. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, cultivating a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee and manage relationships and performance metrics for couriers, customs brokers, and 3PL providers WHAT YOU'LL BRING You're the bird we're looking for if you have: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or International Trade, preferably within the healthcare or other regulated industry. 5+ years of experience in logistics management (preferably with supply chain management) and 5+ years of experience in a people management role. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, GMPs, and GDPs. Familiarity with cell or gene therapy operations is highly desirable but not mandatory. Proven experience managing couriers, customs brokers, and 3PLs. Deep expertise in global trade compliance and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and complex environment with excellent problem-solving capabilities. Location: Somerville, MA - Flex hybrid Compensation & Benefits We offer a total compensation and rewards package that ranks among the best in our industry. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $160,000.00 - $180,000.00. Your base pay will be determined based on several factors including market data, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and travel requirements.
