Division: Healthcare Location: New York, NY Position Description: The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within the estimated budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members. We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical contractor Project Manager to join a project team in place for the restack of a 420,000 sq ft Healthcare Facility. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise a portion of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards of E-J. As a Project Manager at E-J, you will collaborate with various teams, communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and play a crucial role in delivering successful electrical projects for our esteemed clients. Key Responsibilities: Project Administration: Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion Monitor project deliverables Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, informing them of project status, risks, and milestones Liaise with field supervision Attend and run project meetings Evaluate project team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed Participate in project post-mortems to analyze project outcomes and identify lessons learned for future projects Project Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents Communication & Coordination: Maintain extensive client contact Estimating Address any project-related issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively, seeking solutions that maintain project progress Budget & Cost Tracking: Develop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures when possible Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives Procure and coordinate necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors for each project Quality Assurance: Identify areas of process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitability Schedule Management: Oversee the work of subcontracts, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and safety guidelines Qualifications: 3-5+ years project manager experience, required Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical contracting/engineering space Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills with attention to detail Practical knowledge of construction Strong business acumen in project and planning and management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in project management software (ex: Procore) and the Microsoft Suite Practical knowledge of construction processes Advantages of Working at E-J: Leading Electrical Contracting Organization in New York City Oldest Family Owned and Operated Electrical Contractor since 1899 Job training and mentorship Supportive Management Team Rewarding project experience Emphasis on professional development, employee satisfaction, and work-life balance Competitive compensation packages Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K plan Paid holidays and vacation Merit-Based Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Program Team-oriented company culture History of employment longevity Provides the right tools, software, and applications to perform job functions Convenient and central office locations near public transit Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000/year The E-J Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and ensures equal employment opportunity for all persons without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
