The Staff Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team, responsible for executing and overseeing complex accounting functions, including participating in month-end close activities and providing accounting support for meetings, eCommerce, and international divisions. This role will ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient close processes, and support for various accounting operations, including accounts receivable and annual audits. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Month-End Close: Maintain monthly bank reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile monthly trial balance reconciliations. Record monthly journal entries as part of the close process. 2. Meeting Accounting: Prepare and record accounting for over 15 national member and supplier offsite meetings, trade shows and conferences. Prepare meeting trial balance reconciliations. Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for meetings. 3. eCommerce Accounting: Record monthly eCommerce revenue accruals. Maintain and record monthly prepaid expenses for eCommerce. Prepare quarterly deduction schedules for the Accounts Receivable team. Attend quarterly reconciliation meetings related to eCommerce. Prepare distribution of general ledger details to inform relevant owners regarding expense and revenue information. 4. International Accounting: Record bank transactions for Mexico. Prepare reconciliations for trial balance accounts. Record rebate and distribution transactions for Mexico. Review monthly P&Ls for Mexico. 5. Other Responsibilities: Assist with the annual audit. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables and filtering) Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems, with Lawson experience highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum 2-4 years of related progressive corporate experience required Additional Comments: Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M-F Position is based out of our corporate office in Wayne, PA, where we work on a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the offices in Wayne, PA).
