Responsible for supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis of HFS, with a focus on supporting our Chief Commercial Officer and team. This position will partner with CCO in analyzing, reporting, and understanding revenue and cost of goods sold components as well as research on existing and potential customers. The position will also support the Finance functions across the company; including leading the budgeting process for the entire company. Ad hoc analysis as required. Job Duties : Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Manage projects related to company budgeting, forecasting, results and strategic initiatives. Provide proactive financial guidance, support and leadership/recommendations to management teams. Be actively involved in the design and implementation of process improvements, including improvements utilizing SAP/BW/Business Objects. Work closely in the development of business process documentation as it relates to future requirements. Provide management with forward looking reports specifying and comparing factors affecting process and profitability of products. Prepare executive team and board of director meeting materials. Partner with and lead cross-functional teams, including personnel from Commercialization Finance, Sales and Operations, to assist in business development. Support the development of the annual financial budget and provide needed variance analysis. Ad hoc analysis as required. Required Competencies & Knowledge : Knowledge of: Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis Knowledge and experience with SAP/BW/Business Objects Skill in: Proficiency in Excel (advanced skills), Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to effectively interface with plant and corporate office personnel.Strong oral communication skills required. Must be able to effectively work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and handlemultiple assignments simultaneously Ability to: Travel as needed Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Successfully multi-taskEnsure collaborative relationships with plant personnel and all levels of HFS staff. Read, analyze and interpret company policies, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Write reports and business correspondence.Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers at the plant and corporate level. Lead, modeling the organization's culture and values, providing guidance and direction, influencing and developing others while maintaining integrity, blending people into teams when needed, and fostering open dialogue. Lead and manage others through change.Demonstrate strategic planning for results, analytical thinking and technical/functional expertise.Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proficiency in : MS Office Suite, SAP/BW Work Environment : Work is primarily done in an office setting. Infrequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts, and fluctuations in temperature. Physical Requirements : Sitting at a work station for extended periods of time Stand, walk, climb stairs on an infrequent basis Must be able to lift 20 pounds on an infrequent basis. Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years finance experience in an industrial sector, preferably high-volume manufacturing. Plant Controller/Assistant Controller, FP&A experience preferred.
