Job Description Trade Settlement: Process and reconcile trades for various financial instruments, ensuring timely settlement in accordance with established deadlines. Prime Brokerage Services: Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the settlement of transactions related to prime brokerage services, including equity, fixed income, and derivatives. Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of trade positions, cash, and securities, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues efficiently. Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding settlement inquiries, providing support and maintaining strong relationships. Risk Management: Monitor settlement risks and implement measures to mitigate potential issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting: Prepare and distribute settlement reports and metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to streamline settlement operations and improve efficiency. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in settlements or operations within a prime brokerage environment. Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade life cycles, and settlement processes. Proficient in settlement systems and reconciliation tools; familiarity with industry-standard platforms (e.g., Omgeo, SWIFT) is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
