No County New York Street Address Office of Financial Services, Office of Security 215 W. 125th Street City Manhattan State NY Zip Code 10027 Minimum Qualifications Non Competitive Promotion Qualification (NCP):If the number of direct line candidates is three or less, a competitive examination will not be held and the agency, at its discretion, may nominate a candidate for a non-competitive promotion under the provision of Section 52.7 of the Civil Service Law. In order to be eligible for an NCP, candidates must have one year of permanent or 55b/c service as a Senior Security Officer or Chief Security Officer.ORProvisional Qualifications:Must be a qualified employee of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board with one year of competitive or 55b/c service as a Senior Security Officer or Chief Security Officer.If appointed provisionally, the incumbent will need to take the next Civil Service examination for this title and pass with a score that will be immediately reachable on the resulting eligible list. Failure to take, pass and achieve a reachable score on the examination may result in revocation of the appointment.
