Senior Kafka Developer

Title: Senior Kafka Developer Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months Implementation Partner: Infosys End Client: To be disclosed JD: Primary Skill: Kafka Secondary Skill: J2EE Tertiary Skill: Data Stage Required Skills: Experience developing service integration solutions using Kafka / Confluent / Java / J2EE / Websphere / MQ / Message Streaming. 8+ Years Relevant IT software experience in a Technical-Developer role. Confluent Certified Developer will be an added advantage Working java knowledge to write code using eclipse or IntelliJ tools. Understanding of Java coding standards and deployment process. Knowledge of Splunk and Dynatrace tool usage on logging and monitoring. Querying Splunk logs and dashboard creation analysis. Strong Knowledge on any RDMS database/SQL/Stored Procedures etc. Linux/Unix usage with Python or shell scripts knowledge for automation Experience with Data Replication Tools like IBM IIDR is a plus. Responsible for writing code, unit testing, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance),analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause. Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
