Leading Financial Services Firm in Manhattan, New York! Long term contract with competitive rate and opportunity for conversion! About Our Client A Wealth Management Firm known for its extensive range of financial products and services, including asset management, risk management, and advisory services. Job Description Create C++ libraries for integrating Quant pricing models into the Murex FLEX API for equities and derivatives. Collaborate with the development team in an agile manner, utilizing Scrum and Jira. Design efficient and robust components that shield the execution system from potential failures in external pricing code. Partner with strats and quants to facilitate their use of your integration code. Collaborate with the CI/CD team to establish DevOps pipelines for your code, including containerization. Build additional components for monitoring pricing libraries and integrating with future pricing components in Java and Python. THIS ROLE IS HYBRID, REQUIRING TWO-DAYS ONSITE WEEKLY IN NEW YORK CITY, NY! The Successful Applicant 3 to 8 years of experience in C++ programming, with a strong focus on financial applications. Proven track record in developing real-time distributed software systems for the financial services industry. Familiarity with the Scrum agile framework and experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management. Strong communication skills, with experience in building scalable distributed services and addressing data serialization challenges across multiple platforms. Background in developing service wrappers for Python or C++ libraries, interfacing with REST APIs (including enterprise authorization and authentication), and using Java Messaging Services (like ActiveMQ). Familiar with CI/CD processes for C++ applications, including dependency management and Linux deployments. Murex FLEX and experience in equities and fixed income trading are advantageous, as are skills in Python.
