Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Manager

Job Title: Nurse Manager - Surgery Center Ambulatory Location: Tampa, FL Shift: Full-time, Day Shift (Monday to Friday) Responsibilities: Oversee Patient Care: Manage and direct patient care activities in the surgery center, ensuring high standards of care and safety for all patients. Staff Supervision: Supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and other care staff), ensure proper training, and assign duties based on skills and experience. Coordinate Procedures: Work closely with doctors and medical teams to schedule and manage surgeries and other medical procedures, ensuring smooth operations. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Implement and monitor safety protocols, infection control practices, and patient rights, ensuring everything meets healthcare regulations. Administrative Duties: Help with staffing schedules, training programs, performance evaluations, and reporting on patient care and operational activities. Qualifications: Education: Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred). Experience: At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in a clinical or surgical setting (preferably in ophthalmology or an ASC setting). Licensing: Current state nursing license (Registered Nurse). Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks. Physical Demands: Ability to move around the facility, assist with patient care, and perform administrative duties. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. Note: Experience in Perioperative Nursing (preparing and supporting patients during surgery) is required.
