Corporate Controller

Corporate Controller This is a key leadership position with a family-owned real estate company! We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on accounting leader to take the reins. This is a great chance to make an immediate impact, work alongside a supportive CFO, and manage a dedicated team. Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, and fixed asset management Manage complex financial reporting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Provide in-depth analysis of financial results and variances to management Lead the implementation of new processes and continuous improvements Manage vendor relationships and oversee bookkeeping and cash management functions Supervise 1 team member (future hire) and ensure smooth team operations Collaborate with tax accountants and auditors for year-end reporting and compliance Summarize and analyze prospective tenant financial statements Requirements 3+ years of real estate accounting experience (or experience in property management/construction accounting) Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills Experience with Sage 300 is a big plus Proven leadership with a knack for process improvement Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative office environment #12378
