Overview ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a floor technician. The floor technician may be responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas. The floor technician may be asked to assist with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned. Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00 pm - 6:30 am) Pay Rate: $19.45 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Provide and ensure exceptional customer service, provide information to customers for pricing and services, and perform upholstery. Used the MSDS when mixing hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Apply filler compound and coats of finish to floors to seal the wood. Expose to all aspects of rehabilitation at an inclusive nursing and rehab center. Clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, toilets, counters, tables, etc. Restock all paper supplies, and wipe down toilets, urinals, walls, and windows. Used hand and power tools such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, mops, and floor strippers. Receive certification with the IICRC which sets and promotes high standards within the cleaning and restoration industry. Inspect and perform water damage maintenance, duties include water extraction, carpet and hard-flooring removal, and antimicrobial application. Ensure the safety of residents, visitors, co-workers, and the building by following OSHA standards and regulations. Skil in operating all floor cleaning equipment which includes floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment. Discharge patients thoroughly and efficiently while ensuring owners understand aftercare. Ensure customer satisfaction by using interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, coworkers, and supervisors as appropriate. Perform repairs such as electrical ballasts, floor tiles, windows, doors, ceiling tiles, cleaning equipment, etc. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available Preferred Qualifications: Customer Service Experience 1 yr of similar work experience A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
