TravelCode 5 ApplyOnlineUrl DetailStatusUrl MajorDuties As a National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Asset Management), you will Supervise or assist in asset management examinations of MTBS institutions involving complex issues requiring extensive investigation and application of highly technical analysis and judgement. Evaluate the effectiveness of asset management functions, identify systemic asset management risks and trends, and recommend corrective actions, where necessary. Plan, organize, and lead targeted asset management examinations and ongoing supervision activities. Develop supervisory responses to address risks. Conduct and/or participate in discussions with senior bank management on findings and recommendations. Prepare communications with Boards of Directors and senior bank management in order to foster positive changes within the institution. Develop risk-based supervisory strategies for the bank's asset management activities. Direct, review, and evaluate the work of assigned personnel. Oversee, develop, and train assigned personnel, as appropriate. Education Education cannot be used to qualify for this position. Requirements This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.
