The Staff Accountant is a results-oriented Accounting and Finance role that reports directly to the Accounting Manager, working closely with Operations and Sales to improve profitability and cash-flow. Responsibilities: Assist with month-end close for one or more operations. Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing Completes assigned objectives to achieve financial services goals Process payroll, and assist with the accounts receivable process Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested Other duties, as assigned Qualifications & Requirements: 1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred Accounting / Finance Degree preferred High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Team members at AERA Hospitality are offered many fantastic benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement.
