UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking an Oracle Web Logic Administrator for a remote role with some onsite work in New York City. Position: The Oracle Web Logic Administrator will provide technical expertise in the management, maintenance, and support of Oracle WebLogic Servers on both Red Hat Linux v8 and Windows 2019/2022 Server environments. The ideal candidate must have a strong Red Hat Linux background and be well-versed in working with Windows. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator and Oracle WebLogic Server 12c: Administration I and II certifications preferred. 10+ years of proven experience in administering Oracle WebLogic Server in enterprise environments (version 12.2.1.3.0 or higher). 10+ years of experience with clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations. 10+ years of familiarity with integrating WebLogic Server with other Oracle products and third-party applications. 10+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux. Incident management and resolution skills, including on-call support if required. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of WebLogic Server instances. Perform software updates/upgrades and patching. Deploy and manage applications on WebLogic Server. Performance tuning and troubleshooting. Security administration and implementation of best practices. Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for escalated incidents and complex problems. Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence. Utilize scripting languages (e.g., WLST, Jython, Bash) for automation tasks. Perform quarterly updates of certificates and WebLogic user passwords for bendev and dbfs accounts. Develop a comprehensive backup and recovery strategy to safeguard critical data, enable rapid recovery in case of failures, and conduct periodic recovery drills. Test and validate disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory ITS Security Agreements and Fingerprint-based Background Check.
