About us The Regional HR Business Partner (m/f/d) plays a pivotal role in the global HR Business Partnering model by driving collaboration and harmonization of HR practices across divisional and functional boundaries at the regional level. Reporting to the Global HR Business Partner for Scent & Care (S&C), you will contribute to the development of the segment's HR strategy and ensure its proper implementation in the North America region. Within your area of responsibility, you will act as the primary point of contact for the regional Executive Leadership Team and strengthen the role of the strategic business partnership by providing recommendations on topics such as workforce planning, performance management and employee engagement. As an active member of the North America HR Leadership Team, you will exemplify our leadership behaviors and organizational values and serve as a role model for the team and escalation point for decisions and guidance on high-risk and/or complex HR issues. Your role Primary point of contact for the regional leadership team, acting as strategic advisors on HR-related topics Work closely with executive leaders of S&C for the North America region to understand the organization's strategic goals and objectives at a regional level. Contribute to the development and ensure implementation of HR strategy for Scent & Care in close connection with Global HR Business Partner owning core strategic HR topics such as people strategy, strategic workforce planning, people analytics, organizational design and M&A activities Drive cross-fertilization of divisional HR strategies within Scent & Care, fostering best practices, common capability building, harmonization on HR-related topics Own and drive strategic workforce planning at the regional level following global guidelines and contributing to an integrated approach that ensures transparency and efficiency in delivering the right people, with the right skills, at the right place, in the right time. Ensure accuracy of segment and divisional headcount reporting at the regional level in collaboration with the CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics and HR Operations Elaborate segment and divisional people analytics in collaboration with CoE HR Information Systems & Analytics to drive business insights and actionable decision making. Support leadership on organizational design programs, greenfield/brownfield CAPEX initiatives and M&A related initiatives at regional level with HR-related guidance and insights. Communicate and facilitate the cascading of information on structural changes from the global to the regional level. Advise and support the S&C Local HR Business Partner community in the North America region to create a positive and engaging work environment. Act as a point of contact for executive leaders of S&C in the North America region on highly critical employee relations issues and handle cases and disputes as appropriate. Provide guidance on matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Help identify HR service delivery performance issues and work with the global and regional HR organizations, Centers of Excellence and other HR functions to define ways to close identified gaps. About you University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline At least 15 years of progressive work experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 5 years at the Senior HR Business Partner level leading local and/or regional HR strategies in a multinational company Excellent presentation and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information at the executive level. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analyzing HR data to gain insights on trends and areas for improvement to make reasoned, strategic decision. Inspirational leadership skills with a proven track record of driving a high-performance culture and role modelling excellent behaviors. Strong change management expertise and documented experience in successfully implementing and managing organizational change initiatives. Stress resistance and the ability to maintain clarity of thought in times of uncertainty, manage emotions effectively and make sound decisions in difficult circumstances. Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams and at the interface to the business. Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the executive level. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to align HR tactics with overall business objectives. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse, multinational environment. Proven ability to address and resolve workplace conflict professionally and effectively. Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills in French, German or Spanish are an advantage.
