Job Title: Sr .Net Engineer (Banking Domain) Location: Jersey City, NJ (Web Cam Interview) Duration: Long Term (W2) H1 Transfer/ GC/ Citizen Job Description: Business Overview: Seeking talented Core C# Engineer and expert with strong system architecture background in Microsoft technologies for the Global Market Development team in Jersey City Office. Focus of project is to migrate from .Net to .Net Core using gRPC, Webapi and angular framework on Cloud environment. Tuning SQL Server queries, refactoring and reengineering SOA modules to business specification and programming standards. Reengineer existing WCF windows services to use gRPC and introduce WEBAPI replacing existing REST API calls. Reengineer existing XBAP UI to Angular framework. Introduce container-orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices to the existing DEVOPs infrastructure for application scaling and management. Review and provide architecture design for the assigned projects to cover development, testing, & deployment. Follow the internal procedures and the guidelines during project life cycle Participate in execution of integration & user acceptance testing Coordinate w/ Project Manager to communicate status and report issues to the Business & IT management. Minimum Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies. Expert knowledge of .NET Core and .NET Standard. Expert working knowledge of Threading. Solid experience in converting .NET Framework multi-threaded services into .NET Core. Expert knowledge of WEBAPI development and ability to discuss the scalability options. Experience/Knowledge about converting WCF windows services to Micro-services using gRPC. Expert Knowledge about Angular and JavaScript. Experience implementing container-orchestration to DEVOPs platform to manage and scale micro-services. Exposure to Capital Markets or the broader financial industry is a plus. Detailed working knowledge of Database design and SQL development tuning. Understanding of WPF UI development. Knowledge of WCF and its configuration with SOA in mind. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation. bility to work independently with Business Users/PMO; defining development requirements, managing technical aspects of User Acceptance Testing. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in DEVOPS (Azure) is a plus. Understanding of APIGEE. Dapr (Distributed Application Runtime) experience is a huge plus. Exposure to Jenkins. Detailed Knowledge of SQL Server Change Data Capture (CDC), Query Notifications (QN), triggers and SBQ is a plus.
