Senior Tester with Guidewire

Role: Senior Tester Location: Jersey City, NJ - Day 1 on-site. Rate: Market Duration: Long term We are specifically looking for Guidewire, ClaimCenter QA. Purpose: Expertise in Manual/DB/API Testing Responsibilities: 4+ Yrs. experience in Manual/DB/API Testing Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Agile methodologies Familiarity with web application testing, SDLC and testing best practices. Basic knowledge SQL. Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Have an obsessive attention to detail and are not satisfied with "good enough." Test preparation Test execution and Test reporting Writing test Plans, Test Strategy Document Must have excellent oral & written English language skills Reviewing requirements business and system use cases technical specifications and other project documentation to ensure gaps are identified early in the development cycle Must have experience working with Test management tools. Writing and tracking defects and verifying defect resolution Exposure to test automation tools will be added advantage API Testing, experience in Fiddler preferred Behavior: Problem solver, Creative thinker Self-starter Able to test independently Team player, Good communicator Flexibility
