Senior Financial Data Analyst is a key player in the firm's financial data ecosystem, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, improving processes, and supporting various teams. The role demands an elevated level of technical expertise, financial knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the firm. • Assist the Manager / Associate Director in managing key data elements and processes in the Firm's financial system worldwide, coordinating with departments throughout the firm to manage data input processes, validate the data received, conduct audits to ensure accuracy and support the finance transactional and reporting teams. • Ensure that any discrepancies identified during the auditing process are corrected. • Support finance transactional teams by confirming all records are up to date and accurate through a consistent audit process. • Have judgement to escalate issues to supervisors when necessary and problems are addressed promptly and do not impact the firm's financial process. • Provide feedback on process improvement to Financial Data Manager and opportunities the firm has to automate a workflow where applicable. • Ability to assist in data entry if/when needed; this would include a comprehensive understanding of the various data sources and fields and how to enter information within our financial system. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, computer science or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Aderant and MS Excel preferred. • Excellent communication • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities at once and prioritize without jeopardizing deadlines. • Ability to escalate high priority issues when necessary. • Initiative-taking and detail oriented with a solutions development orientation including the ability to proactively avoid problems. • Works well in a demanding environment. This is a hybrid role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role. Salary: $110,000 - $120,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
