Job Summary The ERP Application Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, customizing, configuring, and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning systems that will support the enterprise organization. Analyzes system, user, and vendor requirements and defines system/data architectures that will meet business needs, including availability, capacity planning, data contracts, and integrations. Ensures that applications meet security and compliance standards and are compatible with existing applications. Engage with business stakeholders and supporting groups to identify opportunities, gather requirements, evaluate business cases, develop roadmap, prioritize backlog, and manage delivery using agile methodologies. May supervise and guide the work of business analysts, subject matter experts, and external consultants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead planning and implementation of ERP projects and related initiatives in a process-oriented manufacturing and engineering environment Lead implementation of MRP and warehousing/scanning functions Work with MES stakeholders to integrate manufacturing equipment environment with the ERP Coordinate across ONE business units and stakeholders to ensure ERP fulfills critical business needs to the functional and usability standards of business leaders Establish/maintain relationships with third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects; ensure integrity of vendors deliverables Manage feature enhancement, change management, and change acceptance testing processes for ERP Plan, implement, and manage integrations and EDI connections with third parties Document system functionality and train project team to ensure understanding of their roles Stay up to date on ERP changes and upcoming enhancements Analyzes system and user requirements, and implements solutions, to ensure that information systems will offer security and functionality matching expectations Ensures that systems are performing at optimal levels, and offers support to application development staff Designs test plans for ensuring successful operation of applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle Provide program management for ERP deployment and support to include road mapping critical function implementation, improvement timelines, and provide status updates to senior leadership Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Engineering, Science, or Math, or Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in an IT, Engineering and/or Architect role; 5+ years implementing and supporting production ERP applications in a manufacturing environment, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management Experience with Discrete Manufacturing, Quality, MRP, Warehousing / Transportation functionality Experience with EDI flow development and maintenance Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ask key questions and provide best practices Exceptional troubleshooting skills Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Schedule Full-time 40 hours and generally scheduled Monday through Friday 9am-6pm EST Responsible for responding to critical outages during off hours Work schedule to be established with supervisor to ensure Company's client and business needs are met Flexible work schedule and environment, see company policy if applicable.
